Zinc
plating is an industry process used to finish ferrous (mild steel)
parts with a bright semi-protective finish. It can be used on fasteners
as well as tin-ware where the original finish has rusted.
We
individually prepare all parts prior to plating by bead blasting and
or polishing.
The
type of parts generally zinc plated are wheel spindles, stand springs,
nuts, bolts, washers and bearing covers.
Zinc
plating is available in either bright silver or gold finishes.
There
is also the possibility of processing the parts in chemical black
which is a hot applied black dye.
